BIO
The Royal Volts are a proper rock and roll band hailing from the eastern shore of Nova Scotia.

Powered by the monstrous back beat of Quenny Steven’s drums, the guttural thud of bassist Brady Leights, and textured by the howling interplay of lead guitarist Wesley Thomas and singer/guitarist Jordan Pirri, The Royal Volts sound could be described as classic rock grandstanding with a healthy dose of modern histrionics. Formed in 2011 in a whirlwind of post-secondary piss-fests – and bonded by a work hard/play hard mentality – the band ceaselessly crafted and expanded their sound in the pubs and dancehalls of the merciless Maritime circuit, finding themselves entering Codapop Studio in late 2016 with producer Jon Landry (The Stanfields, The Town Heroes) to record their debut EP “Enough is Never Enough”.

True to form, the guys knocked off their 4-song offering with the efficiency and focus of Patton’s 3rd Army, bringing to life an ably-displayed collection of rippers including the nodding lead single “All Night”, the wanton-sex fuelled “Whisky Lovin’”, the fuzz guitar mania of “Sixty-Five” and the neo-psych rock closer “’'Til it Breaks”.

A quick glance into the crystal ball would show The Royal Volts assaulting a stage somewhere near you – all nails, blood, and vinegar, or in other words - a rock band of increasingly rare type.
